Creating an outdoor space that is beautiful, functional and sustainable are general goals of any good landscape design. Making sure the outdoor space fits the way you live, is just as important. Several steps of the design and construction process, all carefully orchestrated, help ensure a smooth and successful project from beginning to end.

Step 1: Initial Meeting and Discussion of Design Goals

Finding out what you expect from your new landscape design is paramount, whether it's an entire revamp, a quiet place to read outdoors, a space to entertain, or an outdoor kitchen.

Step 2: The Design

For any project, DLD performs a detailed analysis of the site. Then 2-3 different design concepts or plans will be drawn and presented to you, giving you more than one option to choose from.

Step 3: Estimating

The selected design is then estimated. The estimate would show all construction items itemized. Plants and trees are sometimes estimated separately.

Step 4: Construction

The design is built according to the plan.
